Kōkōwai is a new residential neighbourhood being built in the heart of Hobsonville Point. Developed by Ngāi Tahu Property these homes will be available as long-term rentals

With a number of thoughtful designs ranging from a one bedroom +study option to two or three-bedroom apartments, these homes are sized between 56m2 and 96m2 and come with courtyards or balconies.

Creativity and connection between the people and the land they inhabit has been the inspiration for how these homes have been built at Kōkōwai. This first stage consisting of 52 apartments is a series of architecturally designed, three-level walk-up apartments built around a welcoming landscaped courtyard.

The courtyard garden or kapunipuni creates a relaxing space to connect with the whenua and Kōkōwai community. It is also somewhat unique to these apartments in the Hobsonville Point area. It provides a safe place for children to play and grown-ups to enjoy. The building design, with its simple gable roof and central front door, brings to life familiar elements which represent home, whānau, tradition, and safety.

These traditional aspects are combined with modern interior design and energy efficient technology. Intertwining history and modern architecture, these Kōkōwai homes are a welcoming concept for Hobsonville Point. Each apartment comes with a designated carpark and is furnished with washing machine, dryer and fridge/freezer.

The apartments are nearing completion and will be ready to move in mid-September. Submit an inquiry below to find out more information or to register your interest.
