With an impressive and varied career in the travel and hospitality industries, Catharina Andersson is dedicated to making her clients feel exceptionally well looked after. Hardworking and intelligent, Catharina is also an adventurer who welcomes life’s challenges enthusiastically. Among many positions, she has worked as a travel consultant; tour leader; cabin attendant; exhibition manager and as an information manager at the National Historical Museum of Stockholm. After sailing from Sweden to New Zealand with her husband in 1998, she took up a position with the Swedish Consulate in Auckland. In 2002, she became the Honorary Vice Consul in a sole charge position serving the local Swedish community and tourists. Her gregarious nature assures she relates well to people and in the time she has lived in here, she is not only renovated several homes and yachts, but she has built an extensive network, obviously with many Swedish connections. When the Consulate closed in early 2010, Catharina joined Harcourts in Devonport where she also lives since 2000. She offers an outstanding level of service for clients who value her integrity, energy and perfectionist, can-do attitude. As a European immigrant herself – she speaks several European languages including Swedish, French, some German and has a tourist knowledge of Spanish - Catharina understands what it is like to be new to the country. She knows it can be confusing and she has developed a talent for helping people for whom the process of buying and selling property can be intimidating. With her meticulous approach to detail, Catharina makes it feel easy and stress-free. She is a highly effective salesperson you absolutely know you can trust to do the job superbly well.
