Cooper & Co Supplier Story

When the Building Hope home goes to auction on September 27, it won’t be just the home that everyone has their eye on.

The highlight of the six-month project is an on-site auction called by none other than Australasian auctioneering champion Andrew North of Harcourts Cooper & Co.

Harcourts Cooper & Co are running all the marketing for the Building Hope project entirely free of charge. Living Edge are currently in the process of staging the property to ensure it will be presented in all its glory.

They will also be coordinating a four-week marketing campaign, including extensive print and online advertising. The home will be presented for day and night photography and video, which will go live from late August.

A series of open homes will run throughout September. And, even though none of the team will be paid, Harcourts are unleashing some of their top salespeople Brooke Barrass and Jordan Selywn. The pair will be fronting the marketing campaign and onsite for all property viewings right up until the Building Hope home auction.

And what a house it is!

Robert says the team are genuinely excited to bring a home of this calibre to the market while at the same time raising funds for a very special cause. This feature-packed property will become a very desirable home for one lucky family!

“It’s in a unique, almost undiscovered position in a beautiful location in Hobsonville with phenomenal a picturesque natural outlook. It’s a central, fast-growing location only minutes from Hobsonville Point and Westgate.”

The interior truly has the ‘wow’ factor, with an outstanding scullery and built-in coffee machine and wine fridge. Robert says everything is incredibly modern, sunny and spacious, with superior indoor-outdoor flow.

The master bedroom is also very special.
“There’s an oversized walk-in wardrobe, and an ensuite you’d expect to see in an elite hotel,” he says.

The stunning designer kitchen has been kitted out with the latest array of Fisher & Paykel appliances. There’s even a vege garden.

Harcourts was approached by Debbie and Paul Brett of Landmark Homes North Shore in March. The Bretts initiated Building Hope as a tribute to their project manager, Jon Copeland, whose son has a rare disease.

As long-time friends of Jon and Myka Copeland, Harcourts general manager Robert Carter says it was an honor to have contributed to Building Hope.

“After seeing the journey they’ve gone through, it was an absolute pleasure to get involved. We were grateful we could help,” he says. “As we went along it became more and more exciting to see the number of suppliers offering their support.”

The Harcourts team are now tasked with the sale of this spectacular home. “It’s ultimately about raising the best price to donate the most amount of money to the cause,” Robert says. “And, at the end of it, some lucky family is going to have an outstanding, feature-packed home.
